DexterVPN is designed around modern VPN protocols, account security and transparent disclosures. We do not claim independent third-party audits that have not been published.
Supported VPN protocols
WireGuard, OpenVPN (UDP/TCP) and IKEv2 are planned on compatible platforms. See our protocol guides for when each may be appropriate.
Encryption and tunnel security
VPN protocols use industry-standard cryptography to encrypt traffic between your device and DexterVPN servers. Exact cipher suites depend on the protocol and platform implementation at launch.
Logging and data handling
DexterVPN is designed not to log your browsing activity or DNS queries. Limited account, billing and operational data may be processed for security, abuse prevention and service reliability — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not make unsupported “zero logs” marketing claims beyond what that policy states.
Infrastructure
DexterVPN operates server locations across its planned global network. How account and operational data is handled is summarized on our transparency page and in our Privacy Policy.
Account security
- Use a unique, strong password for your DexterVPN account
- Enable multi-factor authentication when offered at launch
- Report suspected account compromise to [email protected]
Responsible disclosure
Security researchers can contact [email protected] with vulnerability reports. Our security contact file is published at /.well-known/security.txt.
